Royal Enfield Himalayan 750
The company has designed the bike to be contemporary, with the body painted in a Sandstorm shade, giving it a rugged and premium look. The fuel tank is large and sculpted. This eliminates the need for frequent refueling during long-distance journeys. It features a new LED headlight unit and a TFT digital display, providing smart and clear information for the rider.
Design and Look: Old Soul, New Body
At first glance, the Himalayan 750 will remind you of the old Himalayan 450, but look closer and every line, every curve is new. The long rake, high ground clearance (230 mm), and that round headlamp – everything screams “I was born for the mountains.” The new fuel tank now holds 19 liters, which is essential for long journeys. The color options are also impressive – Khaki Matte, Granite Black, Himalayan Blue, and a new Copper-Bronze dual-tone.
The most striking feature is its new instrument cluster with a TFT display. The small digital pod on the old Himalayan has been replaced by a 5-inch full-color TFT screen, which displays navigation, call notifications, trip times, and ride modes. A joystick is provided on the handlebar, making it easy to control even with gloves.
Engine and Mileage
This new model, launched by the company, is powered by a 750cc twin-cylinder engine capable of generating 47–55 bhp of power and 60–65 Nm of torque. In terms of mileage, the bike is capable of delivering 22–35 kilometers per liter, and its fuel tank capacity is 20 liters.

Once fully charged, it offers a range of 400 to 600 kilometers. It’s worth noting that its top speed is up to 160 kilometers per hour, making it a rival to sports bikes on highways.
Braking system or suspension
Keeping Indian roads in mind, the bike uses disc brakes on both the front and rear. To maintain balance and safety, a dual-channel anti-lock braking system has been used. Suspension features upside-down (USD) forks at the front and an adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear, ensuring stability for both single and double riding.
On-road experience: Truly magical
I rode it from Manali to Leh. The first 100 km were city and highway rides – the bike ran at up to 120 km/h without any vibration. As soon as the climb to Rohtang began, the real fun began. The engine is so flexible that you can play around on the winding roads without changing gears even in fourth or fifth gear. Even when the snow was melting and the road was muddy at Baralacha La, the bike never let up even once.
The seat is extremely comfortable for long distances. Even after riding for 800-900 km, I didn’t experience back pain. The adjustable screen also reduces wind blast. At night, the headlamp’s light is so bright that it feels like day.
